In the last decade of the 19th century, Americo Papini’s family arrived from Italy to live in Minas Gerais. With tenacity, sweat and dedication, the family helped to build Belo Horizonte, with ceramic and construction services. The city streets still show the result of the serious and passionate work of Américo Papini, who lived with his family on Carandaí Avenue, corner with Ceará Street for many, many years. By lending the name of this remarkable man to this new enterprise, RKM Engineering pays a definitive tribute to the immeasurable contribution of the Italian immigration to the development of Belo Horizonte.
