About the building:
On a 500 m² plot of land, where a parking lot used to operate, the first building of Mora, a company that has just launched itself in the real estate market of São Paulo, will be installed. The proposal is to manufacture, in industrial process, modular residential apartments of about 20 m², using reinforced structural steel purchased from a niobium mining company in Brazil. The units will be equipped with furniture and basic appliances: TV, minibar, cooktop, microwave, cabinets, bed and sofa, which can be opened and closed transforming the living room into a bedroom and living room.
Although there is already a ready-made apartment on the ground, the building is not yet built, or rather, assembled. There is only the first of 18 modules (each is an apartment) that will be placed side by side and stacked, with links by walkways, stairs and elevators, forming a three-story building. The units are not for sale either. They will all belong to the construction company, which will rent and manage them. There will be no need for a guarantor or insurance – the company chose to work in confidence, assuming eventual losses.
“These containers are so strong that they can be stacked up to eight on top of each other, each with twenty tons of cargo”.
The contract will be made through an application developed specially for the building. When it is delivered, which should occur in mid 2019, it will materialize a history built from the various skills of its entrepreneurs.
